Located in a quiet corner of Pasadena, this Salvadoran spot has a cozy, casual vibe that feels welcoming whether you’re coming alone or with a group. The focus here is on authentic Salvadoran specialties, with pupusas serving as a popular choice, always served hot alongside their tangy curtido and salsa. You'll find a range of comforting dishes, from hearty soups like beef, chicken, or seafood mix, to straightforward sides such as fried beans and rice, making it a solid option for a relaxed breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
The dining experience is unhurried, as much of the food is prepared fresh daily, which means waits can be longer, especially during busy times. Many regulars opt to call ahead and either take their order to go or reserve seating to avoid the busiest moments. The space itself is small but accessible, with options for wheelchair users and free parking nearby, although at times parking can fill up due to the steady flow of diners.
This place tends to attract those seeking a genuine taste of El Salvador without any fuss — locals who appreciate comfort food, families that enjoy the kids’ menu, and tourists interested in exploring regional flavors. While the atmosphere stays mostly quiet and laid-back, the presence of families and small groups adds warmth and a sense of community.

4 My to go spot for Authentic Salvadoran cuisine. Pupusas are always nice and hot and come with their curtido and salsa . The only thing that I dislike is that they do take a very long time for dine-in . So what I tend to do is call in my order ahead of time and let them know it’s for dine in . Customer service is 7 out of 10, not so bad since they are typically always busy and limited amount to waiters . Overall I recommend since the food is great.
4 Amazing !! I had pupussas before, this one so far is the best ones!! Sorry for the foto, I started eating before I was able to take the picture . Las mejores pupusas que nunca eh comido !
5 This is a 5 star establishment! Food is made FRESH every single day. Customer service is always amazing. The food is authentic and delicious. The horchata is great if you’re into that. People are giving this place a one star reviews because the wait time for FRESH food is somewhat long. But if it weren’t fresh then they would complain about that. Can’t ever satisfy people. Pricing is fair for the quality and service you get. Highly recommend
4 Hello! Great food and awsm specialty drinks (non-alcoholic). I recommend it. Place is small parking is usually an issue but they have extra parking on the back. If you want the full experience get the "churrasco." What you see on my post picture.
4 Food was awesome! My only complaint was they had flys in the restaurant. But other than that. Excellent food and servers were nice.
4 Pupusas are okay but the ambience of this place is really quiet. There’s not a whole lot of variety in their menu. Salvadoran enchiladas are delicious! I’m attaching a pic
5 Papusas were delicious! The fried yuca was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. So good!
4 Authentic Salvadorian cuisine. Service and atmosphere: The staff were all nice and friendly. They advised us on the food selection and let us sample a soup before we committed to order full portion. The restaurant was clean. Food and drinks: Tradicional cooking methods and flavours in every dish. Good selection of pupusas with various fillings. The pupusas were well cooke, not greasy and evenly filled with cheese. The yucca was fried perfectly, crispy on the outside and soft inside. The soup with tripe was flavoursome and hearty. Ensalada drink was really good too. You can also buy here ready made sweets, cheeses and bottled drinks. Pricing: $$ - definitely worth trying.
Their pupusas are highly recommended, served hot with curtido and salsa, along with specialty drinks like horchata and the popular "churrasco" dish.
It works well for both quick takeout and relaxed dine-in, though fresh food preparation can mean a longer wait when dining in.
The restaurant is often busy, so calling ahead with your order can help reduce wait times, especially for dine-in visits.
Yes, the place is casual and cozy with kid-friendly options, high chairs, and a kids' menu, suitable for groups and families.
They have wheelchair accessible seating, free parking, table service, and accept credit, debit, and mobile payments for easy transactions.
